Ingredients
1 large sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1 medium Brie cheese round (working with a chilled Brie is easier)
4 Tbsp. Maple Bourbon Bacon Jam
1 egg, beaten with 2 Tbsp. water
2-3 Tbsp. chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface until you have approximately an 11" square. Score the top of the Brie rind or use a sharp knife to carefully cut off the thin top rind (this is optional, as rind is edible). Top Brie with Maple Bourbon Bacon Jam. Wrap the pastry around the Brie and place in a baking dish. Brush the pastry with egg wash and sprinkle with pecans. Bake for 35-40 minutes, pastry should be golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
